Texas DPS investigates fatal crash on State Highway 130

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The Texas Department of Public Safety said its troopers were investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened Monday morning on southbound State Highway 130 near FM 973.

A DPS Sergeant said the 7 a.m. crash was fatal, but did not provide further details. He added that additional updates would be provided “when crash details become available.”

Austin-Travis County EMS said an occupant was ejected from a vehicle in the crash. It also said that an adult died at the scene.

As of 9 a.m. Monday, troopers and other first responders were still on scene. Drivers should expect delays in the area through the morning.
