“Hitler had a large ball room [too].” — Mia Farrow, in a Bluesky post Tuesday

We say: You’ve got to love that Hollywood logic: Hitler had a large ballroom, and now Trump wants one too.

Therefore, Trump must be Hitler. It’s obvious!

This report:

“The deal has come under increasing strain amid repeated flare-ups of violence in Gaza.” — The New York Times, Tuesday

We say: Flare-ups? No: They’re attacks, provocations and executions by Hamas.

Why does the Gray Lady always bend over backward to equate Israel, which has fought a defensive war, with monstrous terrorists, who are solely responsible for violence in every single case?

This ‘news’ story:

“All the signs Donald Trump has no intention of ever leaving the White House” — The Mirror, Wednesday

We say: Either this British tabloid is still falling for Trump’s trolls, or it’s desperate to alarm naive readers.

Among the “signs” it cites: “He’s telling people he’s going to run in 2028.”

Please. Trump is famous for saying things just to trigger critics — and here it is working again.

This admission:

“Of course there will be families that are going to suffer . . . but this is one of the few leverage times we have.” — House Democrat Whip Katherine Clark, Oct. 16

We say: Nice to see Dems admit they’re the ones causing the government shutdown and making folks “suffer.”

But what an excuse to justify it! By holding the public hostage, they think Republicans will cave.

Worse, their demands — e.g., extending COVID Obamacare subsidies — will hurt America, not least by busting the federal budget.
