Daisy Edgar-Jones And Emilia Jones To Star In ‘Bad Bridgets’ From LuckyChap
Daisy Edgar Jones and Emilia Jones are set to star in Bad Bridgets BAD BRIDGETS from Kneecap director Rich Peppiatt. The film is written and will be directed Peppiatt.
The script was inspired by the book Bad Bridget: Crime, Mayhem, and the Lives of Irish Emigrant Women by Elaine Farrell & Leanne McCormick, and has been developed with the support of Queens University, Belfast. LuckyChap and Coup d’Etat are producing.
Oscar winning production designer James Price and costume designer Kate Hawley are on board. The film will shoot in Northern Ireland and Ireland in Spring 2026
FilmNation will be handling international sales, WME Independent is on for domestic sales
Thef film follows a mysterious letter sets a young woman on a perilous journey from famine-ravaged Ireland to 19th century New York, joining the ranks of Irish ‘Bridgets’ creating mayhem in the city.
