1 dead in single-vehicle crash in west Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A single-vehicle crash in west Austin on Thursday morning left one person dead, according to the Austin Police Department.
APD said the crash occurred in the 3000 block of Stratford Drive. As of Friday, police have not identified the driver who was killed.
This is being investigated as Austin’s 81st fatal crash of 2025.
