Is a ‘Selling the OC’ Season 4 reunion happening? What fans should expect
If you love reality TV, then you know some of the juiciest moments happen during the reunion. It’s a time for hosts to ask the burning questions and for cast members to clear the air and put an end to festering beef–-unless the feud is deep-rooted and not producer-planted. But hey, it makes good TV.
Netflix understands this dynamic, and has put it into play with the recent releases of two of their flagship reality series: Selling Sunset and Selling The OC. Both shows, of course, go through the obligatory showings, stagings, and closings, but the drama outside the realm of selling glamorous Southern Californian houses has always been messy. And on official “Selling The OC release week,” the office has brought nothing short of chaos to our screens.
This season already started off with a wtf moment when 6 agents left the Orange County-based show, leaving room for 3 newbies to join Jason’s top-selling team: Kaylee Ricciardi, Fiona Belle, and Ashtyn Zerboni. With O Group dynamics changing, there was bound to be clashes between cast members, resulting in new and gripping storylines. After all, it was out with the old: Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland finally closing things off after she was ghosted for a year and a half, and in with the new: Ashtyn throwing out wild accusations that cause most of the conflict all season.
But with Season 4 coming to a close, we’re left wondering a few things. Did Alex and Fiona actually flirt with that home owner who has a girlfriend, or was Ashtyn just stirring the pot? Does Ashtyn lose her only friend, Kaylee—the business-focused, keep-me-out-of-bs agent—over secretly competing with her for that aforementioned homeowner’s listings? Was Ashtyn lying about Fiona’s boyfriend almost proposing to his ex-girlfriend before he met her? Did Ashtyn and her husband meet on Seeking Arrangements?–a “dating” app for those looking to match with a sugar daddy. It’s clear who the villain of the season is.
You know what could answer those questions? A reunion. Or, will we have to wait for a possible next season?

Will Selling The OC Season 4 Have A Reunion?
Although the cast appeared on the Selling Sunset reunion, Selling the OC most likely won’t be having a reunion of its own. Throughout the past 3 seasons, the reality show has yet to release a to have one, and that needs to change. They cannot keep leaving us with unfinished business. The reality tv period between filming and a reunion usually gives the cast a chance to reflect, plus see the aired confessionals, which can make them perceive a situation entirely differently. We want to tune into their fresh convictions.
What Happened With The Selling The OC Cast On the Selling Sunset Reunion?
During a pause from the LA-based cast, specifically in between Chrishell Stause and Bre Tiesi butting heads, the Orange County crew stepped onto the Selling Sunset reunion stage. The cast walked out, recorded in their usual slow motion walk wearing luxe fits, followed by the Season 4 trailer playing for both LA and OC agents, plus us viewers, to watch.
Reunion host Tan France got to asking a few agents a few questions. After talking about her childbirth experience, Ashtyn, who was pregnant on the show, said her first season went well. She then answered no when asked if “everyone played nice.” I wonder why? Fiona got off easy. We just found out that she feels set in her career—we figured. Kaylee’s was surprising. She spilled that she was closest to Austin this season and that their friendship “got a bit deeper.” After watching Season 4, I still don’t know what she meant.
After the rookies received a flimsy grilling, Alex, the unofficial main character, got asked the final question on how she felt about the new members, to which she responded, “I’m a lone wolf in my career, so I just kind of keep my distance if the energy is off,” she said. “But sometimes it’s hard at the Oppenheim Group.”
Bre left the OC cast with some final words of wisdom. “Good luck,” and in the famous words of Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games, she continued, “May the odds be ever in your favor.”
