‘The Daily Show’s Jordan Klepper Explores President Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize Quest In Latest Special
EXCLUSIVE: “Everybody’s just kinda losing their minds in the last couple of years,” says a MAGA-hat wearing teenager in the trailer for Jordan Klepper‘s latest Fingers The Pulse special.
It’s a good job that Klepper, one of the hosts of The Daily Show, is back out on the road to make sense of it and poke fun at the absurdity of political life in 2025.
The comedian is now launching The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Give the Man a Prize on Monday December 8 at 11:30pm after The Daily Show on Comedy Central.
It comes after The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers The Pulse: MAGA: The Next Generation won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing For A Nonfiction Program earlier this year.
The half-hour special will see Klepper head back on a quest that sends him across America and Norway to talk to MAGA supporters, naked bike riders, costumed protestors, and even a Nobel Committee alum to ask whether President Donald Trump can earn the Nobel Peace Prize he so violently demands.
Klepper has previously fingered the pulse on special including Rally Together, Moscow Tools, America Unfollows Democracy, Hungary for Democracy and Into the MAGAverse.
The Daily Show host, who made his Tonight Show debut in August, expects to spend more time out on the road in the lead up to the 2026 midterm elections.
“The magic of the Fingers The Pulse pieces, is we need to go someplace where there’s a pulse. We need to go someplace where people are gathered to care about a thing, and if that’s a cultural thing, that’s exciting to see what they care about, what are the passions behind that Turning Point event or a political event on a college campus. When there’s a news story that pops up that we are curious about how the base feels, let’s go there as fast as we can,” he told Deadline in August.
