Bachelorette Alum Emily Maynard’s Daughter Ricki Details “Miserable” Pregnancy

Though Emily—who is also mom to kids Jennings Tyler, 9, Gibson Kyle, 8, Gatlin Avery, 7, Magnolia Belle, 4, and Jones West, 3, with husband Tyler Johnson—was initially private about her daughter’s pregnancy, she eventually reacted to what one Instagram user referred to as a “baby outside of marriage.”

“Very against it,” Emily said to the camera in her daughter’s Sept. 11 Instagram Story with a smile. “I cannot believe anybody would ever do that—unforgivable.”

In the video, Ricki is laughing at her side, with Emily’s sarcasm made obvious. But to really amp up Emily’s joking disapproval of the matter, an additional video showed how the mother-daughter duo is preparing for the arrival of Ricky’s little girl. 

In the clip, there was a gift bag of baby goodies, bags filled with clothes, a wicker bassinet, and a book titled The Little Big Book for Grandmothers. Ricki wrote over the footage, “These are all things she got on her own and she is not done. This is all stuff at her house too, not even my own.”
