SZA Blasts White House For Using Her Song In ICE Video, Accuses Trump Administration Of “Rage Baiting Artists For Free Promo”

SZA accused the White House of “rage baiting artists” for free promotion of ICE videos, as she called the use of her work “Big Boys” in a social media post “evil n boring.”

“White House rage baiting artists for free promo is PEAK DARK ..inhumanity +shock and aw tactics ..Evil n Boring,” she wrote.

The White House video, posted on Monday, features ICE officers in full military fatigues making arrests.

“WE HEARD IT’S CUFFING SZN. Bad news for criminal illegal aliens. Great news for America,” the White House X account read.

SZA’s protest of the use of her work follows others, from Sabrina Carpenter to Kenny Loggins, who have objected when their music is used by the White House or President Donald Trump himself to make a political point.

What House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said, “Thank you, SZA, for drawing even more attention to the tremendous work America’s ICE officers are doing by arresting dangerous criminal illegal aliens from American communities.”

“Big Boys” was featured in a 2022 Saturday Night Live video.
