Who is Benjamin Erickson? Person of interest in Brown shooting: reports

Benjamin Erickson, 24 has been identified as the person of interest in the deadly shooting at Brown University, according to multiple news outlets citing law enforcement sources.

Erickson was taken into custody at a hotel about 15 miles from the campus in Providence, Rhode Island. 

NBC reported that Erickson has ties to Wisconsin and had recently lived in Washington D.C., according to public records.

The gunmen opened fire during final exams in the Barus & Holley building, which houses the School of Engineering and physics department.

The shooting left at least two people dead and injured nine others.
