The Willington National Weather Service (NWS) issued a cold weather advisory warning that “very cold wind chills as low as 5 to 15 below zero” could hit parts of northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio through Monday, until around 11 a.m.
West Virginia and Southwestern Virginia
Local broadcasters at WOAY—an ABC-affiliated television station in Oak Hill, West Virginia—confirmed that the following school closures and delays would occur on Monday, across parts of Virginia:

Pittsburgh Area (Western Pennsylvania)
CBS Pittsburgh said that many schools in the Pittsburgh area will be closed on Monday, due to “potentially icy road conditions and bitterly cold temperatures.” Among these, Pittsburgh Public Schools has announced a 2-hour delayed start, as did the Seneca Valley School District in Butler, the Albert Gallatin School District in Fayette, and the Jefferson-Morgan School District in Greene. The Indianapolis Star announced that “as bitter cold and uncleared roads linger,” several schools will open with a delayed start, including:
- Center Grove Community School Corp. – 2-hour delay (no morning preschool)

- Noblesville Schools – 2-hour delay
