Jevon Holland tells The Post there are plenty of ‘lessons to be learned’ about Giants’ defensive woes

Jevón Holland had high expectations for the Giants defense when he joined the team in free agency earlier this year. 

Holland, who signed a three-year deal worth $45.3 million (with $30.3 million guaranteed) as part of an overhaul of the defensive backfield, along with imported cornerback Paulson Adebo. 

But the 2-12 Giants rank 30th in the NFL in yards allowed entering Sunday’s game against the Vikings, and 29th in points allowed at 28.3 points per game. 

“Absolutely, everybody should be surprised when you’re not successful at something you’re working towards,” Holland told The Post after practice Friday in East Rutherford. “I’d say I’m surprised and I’m upset about it, but very determined to turn things around.
