R.I.P. Adam “The Woo” Williams: Travel YouTuber dead at 51
Adam “The Woo” Williams, best known for running the YouTube travel blog The Daily Woo, has passed away at the age of 51.
TMZ was the first to report his passing.
Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched around 12:24 p.m. Monday (Dec. 22) for a wellness check where they were unable to make contact with Williams. Deputies returned to the address later that afternoon after a friend of Williams’ borrowed a ladder and looked in the third story window, where Williams was laying unresponsive. They later entered the residence with Fire Rescue where he was reported deceased, per People.
Williams began posting on YouTube in 2009 but launched his second channel TheDailyWoo in 2012, where he posted a vlog every day for five years to capture his travels to amusement parks, film sets, travel destinations and more. The account has netted 749,000 subscribers.
“Created with the intention of not only documenting my day to day life but also to find something new and exciting to film on a regular basis,” reads Williams’ YouTube description. “For over 5 years I filmed an uploaded a vlog every single day on this channel without missing a day.”
Williams’ death comes just one day after he shared what would be his final vlog, shot in Celebration, Florida.

The YouTuber’s recent travels included Disneyland Paris, Italy and the set of the 1980 live-action film Popeye, in Malta.
Williams’ friend, YouTuber Justin Scarred, said, “The world has lost a giant, and I have lost a friend closer to me than blood.”
“We lost Adam. I loved this man with my whole heart and I don’t know what to do or what to say. His family are informed and have quietly confirmed online. Please pray for his parents Jim and June and his sister Faith,” Scarred wrote on Facebook. “He had so many wonderful friends and knew that he was loved. I don’t know what to do or to say; this comes at horrible time and is most horrible for his family. Please keep THEM in your thoughts and prayers.”
Scarred’s statement continued, “Adam and I talked about this day so many times. I wish the world could have known the soft and generous heart behind the screen, the laughter and the tears ‘backstage.’ He was a wonderful person, a true friend to me whenever I needed him, and I genuinely don’t know what to do without him.”
Williams’ cause of death is under investigation.
