Anthony Joshua injured in car crash that kills two in Nigeria week after Jake Paul fight

Star boxer Anthony Joshua was injured in a horrifying car crash in Nigeria that killed two on Monday morning less than two weeks after knocking out Jake Paul during a Miami fight, according to multiple reports.

The vehicle with Joshua, 36, “collided with a stationary truck” along a busy highway, according to the Telegraph.

The crash is reportedly being investigated, according to Punch, an outlet in Nigeria — and a photo emerging from the crash showed a shirtless Joshua, who reportedly sustained minor injuries, with broken glass around him.

Both of Joshua’s parents are Nigerian.

Joshua knocked out Paul and broke the boxer’s jaw in the sixth round during their Dec. 19 fight, and it gave Joshua his first victory since 2024 — while also handing Paul his second loss.
