‘The View’s Ana Navarro sounds off after Republicans subpoena Hillary Clinton in Epstein files investigation: “There are pictures of Melania Trump with Epstein!”
Ana Navarro doesn’t understand why Hillary Clinton was subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee to testify in the Epstein files investigation instead of Melania Trump.
On this morning’s episode of The View, the co-hosts reacted to Hillary and her husband, Bill Clinton, failing to appear for their scheduled deposition, with House Republicans now threatening to hold the couple in contempt of Congress.
Noting that, unlike her husband, Hillary’s name “does not appear once in the Epstein files,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said it felt “witch-hunty” to have the former First Lady testify.
While Navarro wanted to see them both show up to the hearing, she felt there were others who should’ve been targeted by the House Oversight Committee before Hillary.
“I have known Bill and Hillary Clinton for over 20 years. They were very good friends with my ex and they would come down to Miami and stay at his hotel all the time,” she said. “It’s very hard for me and it’s not a comfortable place for me to say that I want them to show up and I want them to testify.”
Navarro also declared that she wants society to “hold the people that we like to the same standard that we hold the people that we don’t like,” including the House Oversight Committee.

“While they are going vociferously against Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, trying to drag them in there, all of the sudden, Donald Trump, who was one of Jeffrey Epstein’s best friends for well over a decade, gets [off] scot-free,” Navarro said.
According to Navarro, they should be looking just as closely at Melania, who, along with her husband, had been photographed with Epstein on several occasions.
“They are trying to haul in Hillary Clinton, who has not been implicated in anything, there are no allegations involving her, at the same time that they are letting Melania Trump, who has also not been implicated or accused of anything, but there are pictures of Melania Trump with Epstein!” Navarro said. “There’s not a single picture of Hillary Clinton with Epstein. So, if you’re gonna start dragging First Ladies who have nothing to do with it, then why don’t we start with Melania?”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
