‘What We Hide’, Starring Mckenna Grace, Dacre Montgomery & Jesse Williams, Gets UK Distribution Deal

EXCLUSIVE: Signature Entertainment has acquired the UK and Irish rights to U.S. thriller What We Hide from Vaneast Pictures.

Pic stars Mckenna Grace (Five Nights at Freddy’s 2), Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), and Jojo Regina.

The coming-of-age story follows 15-year-old Spider (Grace) and her younger sister who are trying to get by after their mother suffers a fatal overdose. The sisters are forced to hide their mother’s body to save themselves from separation by social services, but when their mother’s dangerous boyfriend (Montgomery) returns, the girls must take matters into their own hands.

Written and directed by Dan Kay in his feature film debut, the film is produced by Tony Stopperan (Pig), Jeff Hoffman (Lansky), Dan Kay, and Joseph Restaino (Pig) through Outfit Hungry Bull Productions (Pig) and Hoffman’s Above the Clouds (Lansky).

The deal was negotiated between Signature’s Acquisitions and Development Executive Max Hart and Vaneast Picture’s Founder Danielle Gasher.
