Bringing Up Bates Alum Katie Bates’ Husband Travis Clark Admits to Affair Amid Pregnancy Loss
Katie Bates is sharing her truth.
After the Bringing Up Bates alum’s husband Travis Clark admitted to cheating on her, she addressed his infidelity.
“This is not how I imagined beginning this year or this new season of our lives,” Katie wrote on Instagram Jan. 19, three days after she shared she had suffered a pregnancy loss with their third baby. “This has been an incredibly painful time for me and for our family. As many now know, our marriage has been deeply hurt and my trust has been broken.”
Amid this difficult chapter, she and Travis, 24, are focusing on their children Hailey, 2, and Harvey, 15 months.
“After privately expressing deep regret and sorrow for his action, Travis told me he felt it was important to publicly take accountability for what he has done,” she explained, “and I support his decision and desire for transparency.”
“We are working through this privately, seeking counsel both together and individually as we try to determine the best path forward for our family,” she continued. “I am also being supported by legal counsel. This is not a quick or easy process, and it is not one I am taking lightly.”
