Newsom slams world leaders for Trump response at elite Davos summit: ‘I should have brought a bunch of kneepads’

Gov. Gavin Newsom had strong words for Europeans when he told them to “stand up” to Trump and show “backbone” during his visit to Davos for the World Economic Forum.

“It’s time to buck up, it’s time to get serious and stop being complicit,” Newsom told a reporter when asked if he had any message for Europeans concerned about the White House’s comments on Greenland.
