Netflix Drops Calabasas Confidential
Netflix’s newest reality series, Calabasas Confidential, officially premiered on May 29, bringing together a group of wealthy young adults navigating friendships, breakups, rivalries, and romance during a summer back home in Calabasas.
The series follows 14 friends, many fresh out of college, as they reconnect in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood known for its celebrity families and influencer culture. With famous last names, social media fame, and longtime friendships colliding, the show is already drawing attention online.
Famous Last Names Take Over Netflix Series
Several cast members come from high-profile entertainment and sports families.
Among the most recognizable names is Hercy Miller, son of hip-hop mogul Master P. Miller previously played college basketball and made headlines in 2021 after signing a reported $2 million NIL deal before graduating from Southern Utah University with a business degree in 2025.
Jodie Woods, the younger sister of influencer Jordyn Woods, also joins the cast. The 19-year-old has built her own online presence through beauty content and music production after being homeschooled for much of her education.
Preston Pippen, son of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and television personality Larsa Pippen, is another featured cast member. The former Sierra Canyon High basketball player was once teammates with Bronny James and has described himself as someone unafraid to speak his mind.
Raine Michaels, daughter of Poison rocker Bret Michaels, rounds out the celebrity family lineup. After modeling for Sports Illustrated as a teenager, she has shifted focus toward sports broadcasting.
Influencers Bring the Drama to Calabasas
The show also features several influencers already known across TikTok and Instagram.
Nicole Sahebi enters the series with more than 3 million TikTok followers, despite claiming she prefers to avoid drama.
Suede Brooks, who has amassed over 1.7 million Instagram followers, also appears in the cast. Brooks previously dated rapper Kid Cudi and says she is often the person friends turn to for brutally honest advice.
Beauty influencer and aspiring DJ Kimora Nicole describes herself as the person who always ‘gets the tea,’ while model and wellness enthusiast Alexie Olivo Epstein embraces Calabasas luxury culture, joking that Erewhon is practically her second home.
Exes and Rivalries Shake Up Calabasas
The cast also includes Dylan Wolf, Sterling Retzlaff, Emilie Nelson, Emma Medrano, Ben Favaedi, and Jemma Durrant.
Wolf, a Calabasas High School graduate and competitive rodeo rider, was previously linked to Delilah Belle Hamlin after the pair were spotted together in late 2025.
Retzlaff, originally from Alaska, describes himself as the outsider of the group and has been dating former Dance Moms star Brynn Rumfallo since 2024.
According to Netflix’s description, the series centers on reunited exes, shifting friendships, and escalating tensions as the group spends the summer together in their hometown.
Kim Kardashian Confusion Swirls Online
Despite the similar name, Calabasas Confidential is not related to Calabasas, a separate scripted young adult romance series currently in development with Kim Kardashian attached as a producer.
The two projects are entirely different, though the nearly identical branding has already sparked confusion online among viewers.
