Search Continues for Missing TV Producer

NSW Police have launched an investigation into the disappearance of Katie Walker, a television producer known for her work on Married at First Sight, after she vanished from Sydney’s eastern suburbs nearly two weeks ago.

Walker, 46, was last spoken to by phone on May 22. Police believe her final confirmed sighting occurred the following evening, May 23, when she was seen at Bondi Beach at approximately 7:40 p.m.

Authorities became involved after concerns were raised about her welfare, prompting officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command to begin inquiries into her whereabouts.

Urgent Hunt for Missing TV Producer

Police and family members have expressed serious concerns for Walker’s well-being due to the length of time she has been missing and her lack of contact with relatives and friends.

According to NSW Police, Walker is known to spend time throughout Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160 centimeters tall, with a thin build, brown eyes, and long brown hair. She also has a small black butterfly tattoo on her right hand, which police hope may help members of the public identify her.

TV Community Rallies to Find Missing Producer

Walker is reported to have worked as a producer on Married at First Sight, one of Australia’s most-watched reality television franchises.

In recent days, friends and members of the television community have shared public appeals on social media in an effort to generate leads and help locate her.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Walker since May 23 or who has information about her whereabouts to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. Authorities have requested that information be provided directly to investigators rather than through police social media channels.
