‘Heated Rivalry’ Star François Arnaud Joins Hulu’s ‘Count My Lies’
EXCLUSIVE: François Arnaud (Heated Rivalry) has joined the cast of the upcoming Hulu limited series Count My Lies in a recurring role. Arnaud will work closely alongside Lindsay Lohan’s character, Violet, as her friend Danny.
In Count My Lies, from Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, when compulsive liar Sloane (Shailene Woodley) fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lindsay Lohan) and Jay Lockhart (Kit Harington), it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.
The series also includes Katherine LaNasa, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Sophia Bush.
The series is based on the recently published debut novel by Sophie Stava, written by Aptaker and Berger, who executive produce via The Walk-Up Company and serve as showrunners. Also executive producing are Lohan, Woodley, and Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company. Stava is a producer. 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios, where Aptaker and Berger are under an overall deal, is the studio.
Arnaud recently starred in the Peabody-winning HBO Max series Heated Rivalry. Credits also include Twinless, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2025, as well as Fucktoys directed by Annapurna Sriram, which premiered at SXSW last year. Upcoming projects include Hernán Jiménez ‘s Abril, Someone’s Daughter by Wiebke von Carolsfeld, and HBO Max’s limited series Alice.
His TV credits include Showtime’s The Borgias, Apple TV+’s Surface, Fox’s limited series, The Moodys, NBC’s Midnight, Texas, Hulu’s Unreal, and Showtime’s Yellowjackets. Arnaud is repped by Impression Entertainment, Independent Artist Group, and Brecheen Feldman Breimer.
