PSA observes higher vessel arrival volumes, says conditions are expected to be temporary

[SINGAPORE] The port congestion in Singapore, the world’s largest transhipment hub, has happened as expected – since the Middle East conflict commenced.

But weather has also played a part in vessel bunching at the city-state.

Port operator PSA Singapore has observed higher vessel arrival volumes due to a combination of factors, such as weather-related disruptions in the Far East as well as compounding delays upstream on some east-bound vessel routes.
