It’s a big week for the extended Taylor Sheridan streaming universe.

On Wednesday, June 24, the Academy of Country Music announced that Landman will be honored with the AMC Film Award (congrats, team!) and Paramount+ officially announced a second season of its popular Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch!

The Season 1 finale of Dutton Ranch (“El Padrino”) drops on July 3, but, unfortunately, we still have a bit of a wait when it comes to the premiere of Landman Season 3.

Is Landman Airing a New Episode Tonight (June 28)?

Sorry, Landfam. There’s no new episode of Landman on Paramount+ this week. Landman has been on hiatus ever since its Season 2 finale debuted on January 18, 2026.

Has Landman Been Renewed For Season 3?

Of course! Paramount not only renewed Landman for a third season back in December 2025, but the streamer also praised the show for its record numbers.

“Season two struck viewership records for Paramount+, achieving over 9.2 million streaming views for its premiere episode in the first two days on service,” the network announced in a press release. “Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most-watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+.”

Do We Know The Landman Season 3 Release Date?

No official premiere date has been announced. The first two seasons of Landman debuted in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively, so many of us were eyeing a November 2026 return date. Unfortunately, November might be a bit too optimistic for a return date.

During a recent appearance on Howie Mandel’s podcast, series star Billy Bob Thornton confirmed production was delayed until “the end of August,” which will most likely push the Season 3 release date.

While late 2026 is still in play, it’s looking more and more likely that Landman will return for Season 3 in early 2027.
