FX’s ‘American Horror Story’ Sets Season 13 Premiere Date


The wait is almost over for American Horror Story fans. FX has set Thursday, September 24, at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT for the premiere of the show’s 13th season. The Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk series will also stream on Disney+ internationally.

San Diego Comic-Con attendees can expect promotions for AHS13 to hit the streets of Gaslamp with four specially themed ice cream trucks, as well as the opportunity to pose for photos with Rubber Man (Murder House), Twisty the Clown (Freak Show), the Witch (Coven), among other AHS characters. Ice cream flavors are being offered in tribute to past installments of the series. The trucks will be around on Saturday evening, when fans will be invited to a secret location to experience the 13th scoop. More information can be found on AHS’ social media channels.

Details regarding what the 13th installment will focus on are under wraps. The previously announced cast includes Ariana Grande, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, John Waters, and Leslie Grossman. Additionally, John Carroll Lynch, Mena Suvari, and Matt Fraser are said to be returning as characters they’ve played in other AHS installments. Paul Anthony Kelly, Berto Colón, and Joey Pollari will make their franchise debut in Season 13.

Murphy, Falchuk, Ned Martel, Charlie Carver, Eric Kovtun, Nissa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Tanase Popa, Crystle Roberson Dorsey, Jennifer Salt, and Tim Minear serve as executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Television.
