Indie horror phenom ‘Obsession’ finally has a streaming release date — here’s where to watch
Blockbuster indie favorite Obsession finally has a streaming release date. This is not a drill, people!
Written and directed by Curry Barker, this Certified Fresh horror thriller starring Inde Navarrette and Michael Johnston has been terrorizing the box office, raking in over $400 million globally. The film is currently available to rent on VOD for $19.99, but if you’re looking to keep some extra cash in your pocket, you can wait until July 17 and stream it on Peacock for free!
Also starring Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and Andy Richter, the indie horror phenom centers on a hopeless romantic who finds himself getting exactly what he asked for after breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart. But as the official synopsis teases, he soon “discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.”
If you’re looking for something to stream while you wait for Obsession to drop on Peacock, Jesse Hassenger recently recommended ten movies that are similar to this breakout hit.
