President Donald Trump appeared to be ushered off-stage for Spain’s World Cup trophy presentation after the country won the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey on Sunday.

Footage shows Trump standing next to the team as they get ready to lift the trophy as the new world champions, before FIFA President Gianni Infantino is seen gesturing for Trump to leave the stage.

In one Australian broadcast of the scene, widely shared on social media, a presenter can be heard saying “they can edit him out of that” as Trump walks off the stage.
