Exclusive | Blake Lively FaceTimes husband Ryan Reynolds during FIFA World Cup Final — and chats with A-lister after Taylor Swift wedding snub
Blake Lively’s girls’ day got a little cameo from Ryan Reynolds.
The actress was seen FaceTiming her soccer-loving husband from the pitchside lounge at MetLife Stadium while watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday, a spy tells Page Six.
Our insider also says that the actress chatted with musician Sam Smith, who was also in attendance, “very briefly.”
As Page Six previously reported, Lively attended the FIFA World Cup Final with a few of her non-famous girlfriends.
The “Gossip Girl” alum posed for a selfie with her gal pals at the big game, where Spain ultimately beat Argentina 1-0.
Lively’s group included Stoney Clover Lane founders Kendall and Libby Glazer, as well as her longtime friend Emma Gray.
Her outing comes shortly after Lively was noticeably absent from her former bestie Taylor Swift’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City earlier this month.
Some of the estimated 1,000 guests included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Brady, Brad Pitt and more.
On the night of Swift and her now-husband Travis Kelce’s rehearsal dinner, Lively and Reynolds were snapped supporting their daughter Betty who competed in a horse show in Lake Placid, New York.
A week after the wedding, the longtime couple was spotted having lunch on the rooftop of a Mexican restaurant in Canada.
Lively and Reynolds were both once extremely close to Swift before the actress’ lengthy legal battle with “It Ends With Us” director Justin Baldoni.
A source told Page Six last month that Swift didn’t invite Lively after they fell out over the contentious and public legal battle the singer was roped into.
“There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,” the insider said. “And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.”
A source previously told Page Six that the Grammy winner needed “space” from her former friend after her name was dragged into the lawsuits between Lively and Baldoni.
“Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn,” the insider said at the time.
“Taylor wants nothing to do with this whole ordeal,” they added. “She has always been a loyal friend to Blake and doesn’t appreciate being thrown into this at all.”
