Aaron Rodgers appears to have reconciled with his family

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is entering what he expects to be the final season of his career, but he’s taking some time to invest in his personal life.

Rodgers, 42, posted to Instagram photos with his mother, father, older brother Luke and his wife, Aimee, and a couple of small children, presumably those of Luke and Aimee.

The caption was brief, saying only “Another bonding week. #fam,” but the images told the story.

As many fans know, Rodgers has long been estranged from his family, a rift dating back at least to 2014, People magazine reports.

Younger brother Jordan Rodgers, who was not pictured in the photos, brought the story to the public’s attention when he appeared on “The Bachelorette” in 2016 and told the titular JoJo Fletcher of the relationship issues between Aaron and the rest of the Rodgers clan.

“A source later told PEOPLE that their feud stemmed from a lifelong sibling rivalry, which came to a head after a ‘blow-up’ between the brothers caused their parents to get ‘in the middle of it,'” wrote Lynsey Eidell of People.

Aaron Rodgers apparently missed both of his brothers’ weddings, Luke’s in 2019 and Jordan’s in 2022, but perhaps things have changed as Rodgers nears the end of his NFL career.

Rodgers Taking One Last Ride

After the copious success he had in Green Bay, including a Super Bowl, Rodgers has struggled in stints with the New York Jets and Steelers.

Now, though, he’s gearing up for one last professional season in Pittsburgh, after which he has confirmed that he will retire.
