See Jessica Chastain’s Bone-Chilling Role as a Clone in Terrifying Other Mommy Trailer

A mother’s love can bring great comfort—or absolute terror.

At least, that’s what Jessica Chastain is demonstrating in the latest trailer for Other Mommy, which dropped on July 21.  

In the doppelganger horror, a young girl named Bela (Arabella Olivia Clark) is haunted by Other Mommy, a paranormal clone of her mom Ursula (Chastain). And the trailer alone teases a whole lot of spooky moments.

During one chilling scene, Other Mommy walks into the house under the guise of coming home for lunch. As she begins to make pasta for Bela, she asks if the girl remembers life before she was born. 

Donning an unsettling smile, Chastain’s character says, “Sometimes I think about when you and I were one person. Do you remember that?” 

After Bela replies that she “was a baby in your tummy,” Other Mommy continues, creepily asking, “Do you remember where you were before that? You were in my heart. Can I go into your heart?”
