Paulina Porizkova says this serum works wonders for ‘dry, mature skin,’ and it’s 33% off at Nordstrom
Newlywed Paulina Porizkova gets refreshingly candid about aging on her Instagram, sharing the unexpected pleasures (and trials) of being over 60.
And of course, we can’t help but also admire her glowing complexion. The self-proclaimed “accidental former supermodel” attributes it in part to Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair line, which she told Sheerluxe magazine is “great for my dry, mature skin.”
So when we spotted great deals on the products at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, they went right in our cart.
The brand face specifically named Advanced Night Repair Serum “which everyone – including me – loves,” as her daily go-to morning and evening serum to use under moisturizer.
The Nordstrom-exclusive jumbo-sized bottle of skin care has hyaluronic acid and peptides, and promises to address multiple signs of aging, including firmness, lines, dullness and barrier repair.
Porizkova’s not the only famous fan either, as brand ambassador Elizabeth Hurley, 61, recently told InStyle she’s applied it “twice a day for 30 years.”
The radiance-booster also has over 13,000 five-star reviews at Nordstrom alone. Shoppers, even those with sensitive skin, say things like, “[It] works beautifully to minimize lines.”
A second review reads, “I’m 77 and get a great deal of compliments on my skin.”
Also included in the sale? Two other Estée Lauder faves, including the Youth Power Cream Moisturizer. Porizkova uses the daytime version of this very cream daily, which also includes SPF (but is not on sale).
Promising to “bring firmness, strength, radiance and a lifted appearance to skin,” the under-$100 price tag for a whopping 2.5 ounces is a steal.
The Nordstrom skin care exclusives also include an eye cream duo from the same line as Porizkova’s go-to serum, Advanced Night Repair.
The silky gel-cream brightens under-eye circles and protects against environmental irritation while hydrating and supporting healthy skin. Fans say it works well under makeup or as a night cream.
It’s another popular pick from the sale, with one review reading, “Definitely decreases dryness around my eyes and reduces the appearance of fine lines. If I have dark circles under the eyes from lack of sleep, it helps with that also.”
