CORTIS to Livestream Los Angeles Concert in 870+ Movie Theaters Across 29 Countries
K-pop rookie group CORTIS is expanding the reach of its upcoming Los Angeles concert by bringing the performance to movie theaters around the world, allowing fans to experience the show without traveling to the venue.
The group announced a worldwide live-viewing event for its 2026 CORTIS Tour Put Your Phone Down concert, scheduled for August 13 (KST) at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. The theatrical broadcast is designed to recreate the atmosphere of a live concert, giving audiences the chance to watch the performance alongside fellow fans on the big screen.
In addition to the concert itself, attendees will be treated to exclusive pre-show content created specifically for the cinema release, adding another layer to the fan experience.
More Than 870 Theaters to Participate
The live-viewing event will be screened in more than 870 theaters across 29 countries and regions, including South Korea, making it one of CORTIS’ largest global theatrical releases to date.
Before the concert begins, audiences will be able to watch a 30-minute exclusive pre-show video produced especially for the cinema broadcast. The additional content is expected to offer fans a unique behind-the-scenes experience ahead of the live performance.
The screenings have been designed to capture the excitement of attending a concert in person through large-format screens and immersive theater sound systems.
For fans who are unable to watch the live broadcast, select regions will also host delayed screenings on August 14, although schedules will vary depending on the country and individual theater. Fans are encouraged to check local listings for screening times and availability.
Special Live-Viewing Party Planned in Los Angeles
Beyond the standard theater screenings, CORTIS will also host a special live-viewing party at The Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles.
Unlike a traditional seated movie screening, the event will feature a standing-room format intended to recreate the energy and atmosphere of a live concert, allowing fans to celebrate the performance together.
Rookie Group Continues Rapid Rise
Since making its debut in August 2025, the five-member BigHit Music group has quickly established itself as one of K-pop’s rising acts.
Earlier this year, CORTIS launched its first world tour, Put Your Phone Down, with two sold-out concerts at Incheon’s Inspire Arena. The opening shows featured fan-favorite tracks including “REDRED,” “Youngcreatorcrew,” and “MENTION ME.”
The tour’s title reflects the group’s message of stepping away from screens and embracing real-life moments, while highlighting CORTIS’ hip-hop-inspired musical style.
