39-year-old killed with single shot to the head outside NYC home


A man was gunned down outside a Bronx home on Tuesday evening — and the shooter is still on the lam, according to authorities.

A 39-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his head around 6:50 p.m. outside a building on Grand Avenue between 190th Street and 192nd Street in University Heights, according to the NYPD.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.

Photos captured several orange cones marking off evidence and a bloodied white sheet covering the victim’s body on the sidewalk around the corner from Monroe University.
