Caitlin Clark silences haters by accomplishing 2 historic feats

Caitlin Clark is on top of the WNBA world. But, being one of the highest-profile WNBA players always comes with critics, so it’s no surprise that Clark is often criticized, whether it’s about how she handles the referees during games or other matters.

The Fever’s official account sent out a message on X saying that Clark is the “first player in WNBA history to have 800+ PTS & 300+ AST in a season AND the first to have 300+ AST & 100+ 3PM in a season.”

Now, Clark gets a break. The Fever don’t play again until a Sept. 18 game against the Toronto Tempo.

The WNBA is taking the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup break. There’s a 17-day hiatus in the schedule from Aug. 31 to Sept. 16, 2026, to make room for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Germany.
