Popular YouTuber and influencer Jack Doherty has found himself in hot water again after being arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and charged with domestic battery following a dispute with a woman.
The 22-year-old influencer was taken into custody on Friday, Sept 4, 2026, after Fort Lauderdale police were called to a home in the area regarding a domestic dispute report.
It has been reported that police arrived at the scene shortly before noon and found that Doherty and a woman had allegedly been involved in a physical altercation. The woman was not injured, police said.
Doherty was arrested and booked into Broward County Main Jail on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.
While police have not released many details regarding what allegedly occurred inside the home, Doherty’s arrest has already become the latest controversy regarding the internet personality, who was also arrested in Florida less than a year ago.
However, a source who is close to the YouTuber has a different story to tell. The source told TMZ that Doherty was defending himself during the alleged altercation. This claim has not been confirmed by police and further details regarding the incident have not yet been released.
The latest incident has occurred just months after Doherty’s previous run-in with Florida police.
Doherty later spoke about the arrest and admitted that he could have handled the situation differently.
According to reports, he was later accepted into a drug pre-trial diversion program, while the marijuana possession charge was dropped.
