Malik Nabers ruled questionable for Giants opener

The wait continues for Malik Nabers.

The receiver practiced in full Wednesday and Thursday and was ruled questionable Friday by the Giants after making it clear that the decision on whether to play Sunday against the Cowboys was going to be his alone and that he is prioritizing his long-term future over one game.

Nabers followed the Giants’ practice plan all summer without setback and head coach John Harbaugh sounded confident that the team would clear Nabers in his return from a torn ACL last September.

League sources told The Post as far back as July that Nabers privately was eyeing an October return, but the Giants’ decision not to put him on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start training camp made it seem like Nabers was further along in his rehab.
