Miley Cyrus Reveals Her One Fear About Marrying Maxx Morando

What if the ick comes in like a wrecking ball?

That’s basically what Miley Cyrus asked fiancé Maxx Morando following their engagement in 2025 after six years of dating.

“We’ve been together six years, and I’ve never gotten the ick,” the Hannah Montana star told Zane Lowe in an interview shared by Apple Music Sept. 17. “All of a sudden I got in my head, I was like, ‘Oh my God, we’re about to get married. What if I get the ick?'”

And the Liily drummer—who first met Cyrus on a blind date that ultimately turned into wedding planning—had an answer that proved he was already husband material.

“I asked him, ‘What happens if you get the ick once you’re married?'” the “Wrecking Ball” artist continued. “He’s like, ‘You deal with it and you move on and you don’t be a baby. The ick is for when you’re in fifth grade.'”

And soon after, Cyrus was forced to put her partner’s words to the test when he displayed a behavior she found not-so-flattering.
