Fans claim that some accounts associated with JiKook fan spaces circulated threatening messages and countdowns apparently targeting V ahead of the group’s Latin American appearances.

Why JiKook and TaeKook Are Part of the Conversation?
The controversy has also brought renewed attention to long-running divisions within sections of the BTS fandom.
JiKook is a fan-created pairing name used for Jimin and Jungkook, while TaeKook is commonly used by fans referring to Taehyung and Jungkook. Both pairings have substantial followings within the wider BTS fandom.
Although shipping itself is a common part of online fandom culture, disagreements between different fan communities have occasionally escalated into arguments, harassment and targeted campaigns on social media. In the latest case, concerned ARMY have alleged that accounts connected to JiKook spaces went beyond ordinary fan disputes by sharing messages directed at V.

BTS Set for Three Sao Paulo Shows
BTS are scheduled to perform three concerts at Estadio MorumBIS in Sao Paulo on Oct. 28, Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, 2026, as part of the Latin American leg of the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’. Official ticketing information lists all three dates at the São Paulo venue.
The shows are expected to bring large crowds of Brazilian ARMY together as the group continues its extensive global tour. The Latin American leg also includes dates in Bogota, Lima, Santiago and Argentina before concluding in Sao Paulo.
The October 30 Sao Paulo performance will receive additional international attention through a special live viewing. The concert is being presented for audiences in cinemas in multiple markets, allowing fans who cannot attend the stadium show to experience the performance on the big screen.

The latest allegations have also revived wider discussions about V’s safety and privacy.
Over the years, BTS members have experienced various incidents involving unwanted attention, alleged stalking and invasive behavior.
