Tom Cruise Proves He’s The Top Gun With Jennifer Hudson Show Spirit Tunnel

No mission is impossible for the likes of Tom Cruise.

And when it came to dancing through the gauntlet that is the Spirit Tunnel at The Jennifer Hudson Show—a tradition that sees the episode’s guests walk, or dance, through a crew-laden hallway as they sing—it was a mission Cruise chose to accept. 

“We got Tom Cruise at the happy place, he’s in the tunnel walking to the stage,” the show’s crew sings to the tune of “Old Time Rock and Roll,” an homage to Cruise’s famous dance scene in 1983’s Risky Business. “He’s a legend everybody loves, he’s got that Tom Cruise rock and roll.”

And the Digger star more than matched their energy. 

Clad in black pants, a matching button down and dark sunglasses, Cruise took his time dancing down the hallway, even backtracking multiple times to pull crew members from their spot along the wall to dance with him. 

And when he finally made it to the end of his runway, he held up a hand heart, telling the crowd, “Thank you guys.”
