DWTS’ Witney Carson Addresses Claim She Wants to Be Eliminated With Guillermo Rodriguez

According to the 32-year-old—who shares sons Leo, 5, and Jet, 3, with husband Carson McAllister—her disappointed facial expressions after finding out she and Rodriguez were safe were due to her being “genuinely sad for the people going home,” before then feeling “excitement.”

“Those two emotions are existing at once,” Carson explained. “But my first initial reaction is sad for whoever’s going home, and then obviously we celebrate, and they don’t really show that bit.”

And for those who needed further clarification, the two-time DWTS champion emphasized, “Yes, I am very happy that we’re continuing on.”

“I am truly so grateful to continue on in this competition week after week with Guillermo because he really deserves it,” she continued. “He is genuinely a kind person. He genuinely wants to get better. He never gives up.”
