‘No One Will Miss Us’ Renewed For Season 3 At Prime Video
There’s more No One Will Miss Us Coming to Prime Video.
The streamer announced a Season 3 of the Mexican YA series (also known as Nadie Nos Va a Extrañar) at the ongoing IberSeries confab in Madrid, where Mexico is the country of honor.
Camila Misas, Head of Local Originals, Mexico, for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, broke the news during an Amazon MGM Studios panel at the event.
“After a very successful second season of Nadie Nos Va a Extrañar, the third season is confirmed, with production beginning in the first quarter of 2027,” Misas said.
“We’ll also have new faces and new stories, directed by Samuel Kishi, with Silvana Aguirre as showrunner and, of course, Adriana Pelusi and Gibrán Portela in charge of the scripts.”
It was clearly not an off-the-cuff announcement, with stars from the show posting on socials as soon as the new series was confirmed.
No One Will Miss Us stars Nicolás Haza, Camila Calónico, Virgilio Delgado and Macarena Oz. The show, which is set in the 1990s, follows a group of outsider high school kids. They set up shop doing homework and school assignments for money and their enterprise gives them newfound status among their peers.
The Immigrant produces No One Will Miss Us. It is the production label founded by former Univision exec Camila Jiménez-Villa and El Chapo creator Silvana Aguirre in 2019. It is minority-backed by Fremantle.
The show was first announced in 2024, per Deadline’s scoop at the time. Season 2 was announced last year. The YA show has proven popular on home turf, featuring in Prime Video’s top-ten for Mexico.
