Wheelchair-bound 7-year-old in critical condition after being shot in face by Oregon school shooter

A wheelchair-bound 7-year-old is in critical condition after being shot in the face by a maniac gunman at an Oregon elementary school, according to a report.

16-year-old John J. Griffin killed three students, ages 5, 8, and 11, and a teacher at Silver Rail Elementary on Thursday, before being shot dead by heroic bystander, Kaylub Giamanco.

A 7-year-old student and a 54-year-old teacher were also critically injured in the attack.

Giamanco’s brother, Kyle, told NBC News that he is friends with the family of the injured child – who is in a wheelchair and was shot in the face.

The child is reportedly recovering from surgery.
