KATSEYE Apologizes After Cancelling Concert 30 Minutes Before Showtime

Tonight KATSEYE might need to take a break.

Fans of the girl group—consisting of members Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae, Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel, as well as Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza, who are currently on hiatus—were disappointed when the “Tonight I Might” group’s Nov. 3 concert in Detroit was called off just half an hour before the group was set to take the stage.

“We’re so sorry to share that tonight’s show at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed due to illness,” KATSEYE wrote in a statement shared to Instagram Stories. “Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover.”

Knowing such a last-minute change could have a gnarly reaction among fans, the band also apologized to their loyal EYEKONS.

“We know so many of you have traveled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight,” they continued. “We are incredibly disappointed that we won’t get to see you, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience.”

“Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for always showing us so much love,” they concluded. “We love you and can’t wait to see you soon.”
