Sure, she was hesitant when she reconnected with the single dad years after he ghosted her in 2018. “Basically, we met, we only hung out a couple times, but he ghosted,” she explained. “And I think it took me a little bit to entertain the seriousness of our relationship because I was still thinking about that and thinking like, ‘This is going to happen again.'” 

But while she acknowledged that she has “very little faith in men”—considering seven months after then-boyfriend Chase Severino slid a yellow sparkler onto the fourth finger of her left hand in October 2019, she discovered that he was expecting a baby with another woman—Beaudoin continues waving green flags. 

“When you go from thinking you’re just in a casual relationship to all of a sudden we’re going to try to have a baby together, things move very quickly,” Way Thore explained. “And that can expose a lot of weaknesses that you might feel. But I continue to be pleasantly surprised at every turn, even though I was really, really, really looking for reasons to believe that it wasn’t right. But, luckily, he proved me wrong.”
