Any time Milla Jovovich gets to dote on her daughter Ever, she’s in her element.
The Resident Evil actress paid tribute to her and husband Paul W.S. Anderson’s eldest child in honor of her 19th birthday, sharing a new glimpse of the teen.
“Happy 19th bday to my little queen Ever!!!” Milla wrote on Instagram Nov. 3. “What an incredible journey you’ve created for yourself in this life! It’s so amazing to watch you use all the tools you were exposed to so purposefully and expertly.”
“It’s gratifying to any parent who wants their kids to appreciate the world around them,” she continued. “Then, see you add all that to your experiences everyday, learning, growing and evolving into the capable, resourceful and inspiring person you are today? Nothing could make me more confident of your present and future choices which ease the fear everyone has when their children grow up and go out into the world.”
Alongside the sweet message, the 50-year-old—who is also mom to kids Dashiel, 11, and Osian, 6, with Paul—shared a striking photo of her daughter in which she looked eerily like her mom as she gave the camera a pout.
