Charles Leclerc is officially in the dad lane.
The Formula 1 driver and his wife Alexandra Leclerc became first-time parents after welcoming a baby girl on Nov. 3.
The couple of three years—who tied the knot during a lavish beach ceremony in February—announced the arrival of their daughter Bianca, alongside an adorable photo of their newborn’s legs and feet in a pink onesie with white frilly socks.
After sharing their baby’s name, fans of the motorsport athlete have connected the dots between the moniker and that of Charles’ late godfather and mentor, Jules Bianchi, who he described to Formula 1 as an older brother who was “always happy to help and very happy to have fun as well.”
Alexandra first shared she was pregnant in August by posting a shot of her lounging on a yacht while showing off her baby bump on Instagram, captioning the snap with a series of ladybug emojis.
And while Alexandra, 25, and Charles, 29, kept further details of their pregnancy private, followers of the fashion influencer were hoping the parents might be welcoming a mini-me for Alexandra when pink became a recurring color in her posts.
