Golden Globes Sets Its 2026 Airdate

The 83rd edition of the Golden Globes is set to take place Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Beverly Hilton, organizers said Thursday.

Nikki Glaser, who debuted as host of this year’s Globes, is already set to return as host of the shindig, which again will air live on CBS and Paramount+ with Showtime at part of a multi-year deal.

Nominations for the year’s best in movies and TV will be announced December 8, the Globes organizers said, with a full awards timeline still to come.

Dick Clark Productions plans, hosts and produces the Globes, which last year averaged 9.3 million Live+Same Day viewers, a slight dip from 2024 but widely seen as a successful show especially due to Glaser, who was quickly asked back to host again as part of a new deal that includes a pay hike.

The January ceremony saw winners including Emilia Pérez and The Brutalist for the top motion picture prizes, and ShōgunHacks and Baby Reindeer sccoring in the TV categories.

The January 11 date for the 2026 Globes is the latest the ceremony has been held in the new year since 2023. It still retains its place as a kickoff to the major awards-season shows, with all roads leading to the Oscars, which in 2026 take place March 15.

The Globes are owned by a joint venture between Deadline owner Penske Media Corporation’s Dick Clark Productions and Todd Boehly’s Eldridge.
