Mets prospect Drew Gilbert giving glimpse of vast potential now that he’s healthy

SYRACUSE — The early numbers are promising.

The at-bats have been professional. The couple of highlight-reel plays remind of the ceiling.

But most important and most promising for Drew Gilbert: He finally feels 100 percent.

“I’m ready to go,” the 24-year-old outfield prospect said before a doubleheader at Triple-A Syracuse’s NBT Bank Stadium on Wednesday, fully healthy for the first time in about a year.
