Watch live: King Charles delivers rare address from Canada

King Charles is in Canada where he will deliver the Speech from the Throne to open the 45th session of Canada’s parliament in Ottawa. It is his first trip to the country – where he is the head of state – since his coronation. The last time the throne speech was given by the monarch was Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. The rare speech comes amid tensions with President Trump, who has repeatedly called for the country to become America’s 51st state.
