And while the Bridgerton star hasn’t responded to the offer from Colin, Jonathan also confirmed his exchange with Scarlett—also mom to 10-year-old daughter Rose with ex Romain Dauriac—was a lighthearted salute to their friendship.

“I believe in being able to show love in all different ways,” the 37-year-old told Entertainment Tonight at the New York premiere. “And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to.”

The Black Widow star, 40, echoed the sentiment shortly after. 

“He’s a lovable guy,” Scarlett explained during her June 25 appearance on Today. “What can I say? We’re just friendly people.”
