Eventually, the 60-year-old—who is dad to daughter Cassandra, 40, with ex Paula Profit, daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with ex Denise Richards, and twin sons Bob and Max, 16, with ex Brooke Mueller—grasped the weight of his actions.

“I had so much evidence by that point that there was really nothing left except a funeral or a wake or something awful,” he continued. “That’s the stuff I look back on. I’m just like, ‘Huh, that could have been pulled back a little bit.'”
