‘The Witcher’ Season 4 Trailer: Liam Hemsworth’s Geralt Is On An Intense Search For Ciri: ‘Let’s F***ing Move!”
An intense search is underway for Ciri in the official trailer for Season 4 of The Witcher. In it, we see Liam Hemsworth‘s Geralt on a desperate quest to find Ciri (Freya Allan) amid a raging war and enemies awaiting him at every turn. The streamer also released some new images which you can see below.
Per the official logline, “after the shocking Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.”
In the trailer we see Geralt with, let’s say inexperienced team of misfits who join him in the search.
“You did not mention anything about an ominous graveyard of death,” says one of his cohorts. “Let’s f***ing move!, demands Geralt.
Also, as previously reported, Laurence Fishburne joins the upcoming season as Regis, the fan-favorite character from The Witcher books and games. Introduced in Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel Baptism of Fire, Regis is a world-wise Barber-surgeon with a mysterious past who joins Geralt on his journey in Season 4.
Hemsworth and Fishburne join co-stars Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and Joey Batey.
The Witcher is executive produced by Steve Gaub, Matt O’Toole, Mike Ostrowski, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Lauren Schmidt, Platige Films (Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko) and Hivemind Content (Jason Brown and Sean Daniel).
